Qatar Cracks Down On Alcohol

Qatar is cracking down on booze this year. For the first time, alcohol sales will be restricted in the nine days before Eid Al Adha.

Eid Al Adha is expected to happen during mid-September in 2015. There is a small loophole, however: Hotel guests can still order alcohol through room service for consumption inside their rooms.

Alcohol is already forbidden during Ramadan and the Islamic country has been known to issue sudden booze bans in the past.
