This Dubai Nightclub Is Actually Throwing a Pokémon Go Party
Draining time, energy and phone batteries of millions of people, Pokémon Go has been getting people to express their inner Ash Ketchum for weeks. Now that the location-based augmented reality game has gotten people enthusiastically catching Pokemon all over the world, it’s about time the Emirates raised them a toast.
Societe Dubai, one of the UAE’s most renowned 80’s and 90’s night club, are throwing a party at the Marina Byblos Hotel for all you “Pokémon Masters” in Dubai. The Poképarty is announced to be on Thursday, July 28.
You can expect some dope vintage tracks playing, a massive “Pokéball pit” to catch these wild creatures, adorable stuffed Pokémon toys, big screens projecting various episodes from the show and more.
