Dubai residents are going crazy over a new drive-in cinema that is opening its doors to the public soon. Because who hasn’t missed going to the movies every now and then; it’s been a very long time!

After cinemas have been shut down for quite some time now in the once very busy city, Vox Cinemas at Mall of the Emirates announced turning its rooftop parking into a drive-in cinema area, with a ticket price of AED 180+ VAT. The ticket price also includes a food and beverage package for two people, as only two people are allowed in each car.

Yesterday’s event was invites-only, and saw the screening of Bad Boys for Life. The drive-in cinema is set to open to the public on the 17th of May.
