New Liquor Licenses Banned in Egypt

Hey hey this regime is proving more and more to be a Godsend (please note our sarcasm)!

In the news today, Senior Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority, Mr. Nabil Abbas issued a decree to ban any new licenses and or renewal for stores that sell alcohol in new cities.

He then went on to say that NUCA has the right to terminate any activity that distrubs the society in any of these new cities. What does he mean by new cities? Think 6th of October, New Cairo, etc..

Abbas sent out a letter to the new city heads, stating “that once an operating license is expired they are expected to change their trade in accordance to requirements of the city.”
