Mountain View’s Sports Day Was All About Spreading Happy and Healthy Vibes

We wouldn’t necessarily call ourselves the healthy, fit, working-out types but when we were invited to Mountain View Egypt’s Stars Sports Launch last Saturday, we thought this would be it. We knew that the healthy giants at Mountain View were our chance to shine bright like a diamond and emerge and become gym-rats.

We headed to New Cairo at 8 am, feeling very excited at the idea of the new fit version of ourselves. As soon as we registered and entered, the world (or should we say The Valley) was our oyster. There was tons of activities for everyone that will turn your frown upside down. From yoga to tennis, soccer to boxing, physiotherapy and much more. Needless to say, there was more than enough activities for everyone. But most importantly, all of them were family-friendly.

There was also a food area where we spent 40% of our time there. Not because of the food obviously, but to enjoy the DJ slay the decks while feasting our eyes with the pool view and seating ourselves on the comfortable bean bags. Happiness was inevitable at Mountain View, but honestly, who can blame all these smiley faces here? We were all somewhere that promotes and preaches a healthy lifestyle, but more than that, it spread good, happy vibes.

As the day passed, the competition got harder and everyone seemed to bring it their all. We’re not sure how the guy in the picture above was carrying what he’s carrying but we rooted for this real-life He Man. In fact, we rooted for everyone who made it. Everyone was a winner that day.

#AScoopOfNow: We’re still here at @mountainview_egypt and this yoga class is exactly what we need after such an intense day of spinning, lifting weights (we didn’t lift, we just watched people do it, but we totally felt their pain), and showing off our fitness skills (we don’t really have any).
