Middle East Bound: Eminem to Rock Abu Dhabi and Riyadh This December
The Emirates and Saudi Arabia have been surprising us so far with unexpected debut performances by international artists. Whether it was US singer Khalid making his UAE debut at the 2021 Abu Dhabi F1 show or Alicia Keys debuting at Saudi Arabia’s Alula back in 2022, these events have showcased world-renowned talent in the region.
Now, continuing the hype, one of the biggest rap stars in the world, the legendary Eminem, is set to perform in both Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
The Real Slim Shady, a 15-time Grammy Award winner and artist who broke racial barriers for the acceptance of white rappers in popular music, will headline the Yasalam After-Race Concerts lineup at Etihad Park on December 7. He will also headline the 2024 edition of MDLBEAST’s Sandstorm Music Festival, which kicks off on December 12.
You’ll hear crowd favorites, including “Lose Yourself,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and “Without Me,” as we revisit the rapper’s heartbreaking life through his ingenious lyrics and dance it out to his highly addictive nostalgic beats.
