Meteor Attack Injures 1,100 in Russia
No this isn’t a scene out of Armageddon, but real life! A meteor entered the Earth’s atmosphere and exploded over Russia’s Ural Mountains yesterday. It’s sonic blast shattered countless windows in the town and injured about 1,100 people according to reports.
The meteor was estimated to be approximately 10 tones and 49 feet wide, entering the Earth’s atmosphere at hypersonic speeds of at least 33,000 miles per hour therefore, hitting the ground with the force of an atomic bomb.
The debacle has frightened many elderly Russian’s in the town, who are now worried that the world may be coming to an end (no that sentence is not a joke).
