Ladies of the UAE: This Law Just Took You One Step Closer To Gender Equality!

Just when countries all over the world, first and second, are fighting for equality between man and woman, the UAE has just dropped the bomb for the year 2018. The UAE government just approved an equal pay law, making it just another thing that proves that the UAE is simply ahead of everyone else.

According to Pop Sugar; In 2017, women made up 66 percent of the public-sector workforce, 30 percent of which were in leadership roles.

Currently, the UAE has nine female ministers, meaning it has one of the highest rates of ministerial representation in the region. In the Global Competitiveness Index 2017-2018, the UAE is leading in the region in various categories, including gender equity, Gulf News reported.
