KSA Revamps Rules For Its Domestic Workers
Saudi Arabia has introduced new regulations for foreign workers in the Kingdom in a bid to safeguard rights of the country’s domestic workers.
While Saudi has over 3 million domestic workers, the new rules are set to become more attractive to further expand the domestic labor market in the country.
The new rules require the worker to be at least 21 years of age or older and include dates in the domestic worker’s contract that must be prepared in line with the Gregorian calendar unless the contract states otherwise.
Any provisions contradicting these criteria must be reduced unless they are an advantage for the domestic worker.
