First Muslim Minister in Norway
Hadia Tajik, Norway’s Minister of Culture
In the midst of the all that is happening around the world and as the hate towards Muslim’s increases due to misunderstandings and lack of knowledge on all sides, Norway steps up to the plate and delivers a groundbreaking move.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg has appointed a Muslim WOMAN (too) as part of his government this past week. Hadia Tajik, 29, is not only the youngest government member ever to take the position in the Scandinavian country, but also the first Muslim hailing from Pakistani decent.
The newly appointed minister has her program already set and publicized for the upcoming months, which highlights culture diversity and understanding different races and religions as a major element.
We Said This: Hopefully other countries will jump onto this bandwagon and realize that by educating the masses these problems will disappear!
