EMPWRNG MNDS: The Egyptian-Canadian Platform Hosting Canada’s Youth Mental Health Conference
Today we’re going to talk about EMPWRNG MNDS, a division of the EMPWR MAG; they will be hosting Canada’s Online COVID-19 Youth Relief Mental Health Conference this year. The conference’s theme is ‘Navigating the Future of Us’, and it’s set to take place on the 18th of July, from 12 PM to 2 PM EST via Zoom.
The conference is funded by the Canadian government with the purpose of navigating solutions around common mental health challenges arising now and in the post-COVID world. The conference will be attended by Canada’s Minister of Diversity Inclusion & Youth, Bardish Chagger, and Liberal Member of Parliament for Mississauga Centre, Omar Al Ghabra, alongside 10 youth leaders and speakers.
