#CleanOurBeaches: Farah Magdi’s Initiative is the Perfect Ending for the Summer Season

In the past couple of years, individuals, public figures, celebrities, and organizations started a lot of initiatives to raise awareness on the importance of saving the environment. People became more aware of the consequences of their actions towards mother earth. Yet we still see that there is much to be done, and beaches are still swarming with plastic.

Farah Magdi decided to go the extra mile and started cleaning her beach all by herself because it was full of plastic. Four people saw her, and decided to help. Minutes later, the entire beach was full of people of all ages trying to help out with cleaning the beach. And it all started with one simple initiative.

So today I started cleaning the beach all by myself because it was literally just plastic. Then 4 people started helping, 10 minutes later I looked around me and I saw a bunch of people of all ages, Children, Teenagers, Mothers, and Old men collecting trash and helping me. I started thanking everyone and it just felt so good to work together and help each other, The vibes were unimaginably lovely that it got me really emotional I teared up. All I wanna say is that if you started by yourself people will join you, and if you see someone started on his own help them because then other people will start joining as well and children will be encouraged to do the same because they’re influenced by us. Be the change you wanna see in the world, LITERALLY. Clean the beach, take a picture and tag me and I’ll repost on my story for a better world and use the hashtag #CleanOurBeaches?

It would be amazing if everyone decided to follow Farah’s lead and started cleaning their own beaches. Farah started an initiative, asking people to clean their beaches, take a picture, tag her, and use the hashtag #CleanOurBeaches and she’ll repost it in her stories. Finally, a challenge that has a purpose and meaning.
