Why I Chose Huawei’s P9 Over Apple’s iPhone 7
With news of the new Apple’s iPhone 7 coming out, the world has turned to absolute chaos. Everyone just wants to get their hands on it even if it’s not that impressive. Oh, dual-lens camera in the iPhone 7 Plus? Guess who had it before? Yup, Huawei’s P9!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the P freakin’ 9. While the iPhone 7 boasts a 7-megapixel camera, the P9 has an 8-megapixel one instead that’s a Leica. What’s that? It basically transforms your phone into a small DSLR camera. The 8-megapixels are nothing compared to what Leica offers the P9. It has PRO mode where it controls the sensitivity of the lens to the light, giving you way more control to your pictures. Also, can we talk about the RAW option? Most phones, if not all, only give you the JPG option, but not the P9. RAW is the purest form of any picture, it allows the user to edit it as much as they want without reducing the quality of it.
While companies like Huawei and others reinvent the smartphone game, Apple barely just catches up to them and abuses their loyal followers to beat them. The new iPhone 7 flaunts its new dual sim feature like it’s the icing on a cake, when other smartphones such as the P9 had it way before. The P9’s battery life could also last up to 14 hours. And no, I’m not gonna talk about the iPhone 7’s battery life because we all know how long that lasts.
