BREAKING NEWS: Two Trains Crash in Egypt’s Beheira Governorate
At press time, at least 19 people died and 10s injured in a train collision in Egypt’s Beheira Governorate on Wednesday; stated the Ministry of Health.
The Official Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Khalid Mujahid, stated to Al-Masry Al-Youm, that rescue workers and 30 ambulance vehicles are working at the scene. In addition; Mohamed Zein El-Dein, the Vice President of the Transportation Committee, said in a media statement that the accident resulted due to the separation of two passenger cars that ended up colliding with a passing cargo train.
Mujahid added to Al-Masry Al-Youm that a medical team from all specialties headed to the site of the accident, lead by the Minister’s Advisor for Critical Care, Dr. Sharif Wadih, to assess the situation and provide all the necessary medical services.
