This Asian Man Is More Egyptian Than Any of Us Will Ever Be

Last night, Facebook user Yasmiin Wael posted a video online of an Egyptian person casually making a conversation with his friend, who happens to be Asian, but then ends up being more Egyptian than all of us. The Egyptian friend keeps trying to talk to him in English, only to get told “enta 3aweg lesanak keda leh?” (why are you talking like that) from the Asian man. 

The Egyptian guy refused to give up and went on and asked the blonde Asian whether he ships Drake and Rihanna’s relationship. The reply he got was “fokak ya 3am men el kalam dah!” The foreigner straight up just told the Egyptian guy fokak (let it go) in the most on point Egyptian Arabic accent ever.

WE SAID THIS: I’m actually a little bit sad because I am in fact Asian, and I will never be able to out-Egyptian him.
