After Win Over Al Ittihad, Ahly Club Celebrate By Chanting For A Free Palestine
Egyptian African champion club “Al Ahly” has triumphed over Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad club in King Abdullah stadium packed with over 50,000 fans. The three Egyptian players Ali Maaloul, Hussein El Shahat, and Emam Ashour scored the goals, marking the club’s sixth’s arrival to the semi finals of the Club World Cup in a row.
Al Ahly’s official page announced the victory and said ” Writer of history, the story is not yet finished”
Notably, the club players and the thousands of fans have dedicated their celebration to Palestine. Videos after the game ended shows the footballers dancing while waving the Palestinian flag, and in other videos they are chanting “Blood and Soul, For Palestine we sacrifice it all”.
The celebrations were packed with Palestinian sentiment that is not new to the fans nor the players of Al Ahly.
