From last night’s third edition of the incredible Artists for Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles, led by Sudanese-Canadian soul-folk musician and poet Mustafa, and hosted by stars and long-time advocates for Palestinian children Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal, the event brought together 20 artists and raised $5.5 million for Sudan and Palestine.
The lineup included pop crooners Blood Orange and Daniel Caesar, singer-songwriters Clairo and Shawn Mendes, emo-leaning artist 070 Shake, and Sudanese poet Safia Elhillo, among others.

With thousands of attendees, the evening showed how global solidarity can turn into real action, sending a powerful message of care and hope to children who have endured so much in both Palestine and Sudan. Among those in attendance were Diaa and Ayham, two children who were evacuated from Gaza for life-saving treatment abroad, now thriving and strong once again.
All proceeds went to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA).
Mustafa later took to Instagram, saying, “I am nothing but a bridge. And if all I’ve done in this life is walk artists to each other, and walk artists to people whose voices are missing, then I’ve lived a life worth dying for,” before going offline to find his voice again.
