The violent, systematic attacks on Palestinian people, both in Gaza and elsewhere, have been all over the news for months. The massacres in Sudan haven’t received as much media attention, but they have also killed thousands and displaced more than a million refugees.
Next month, Sudanese-Canadian soul-folk musician and poet Mustafa will gather 20 artists in Los Angeles, California, bringing together a shape-shifting lineup of performers including pop crooners Blood Orange and Daniel Caesar, singer-songwriters Clairo and Shawn Mendes, emo-leaning artist 070 Shake, and Sudanese poet Safia Elhillo, among others.
Hosted by screen stars Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal, will take place on January 10, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, from 6 PM to 11 PM, with all proceeds from the live show will support the Sudanese American Physicians Association and the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, split equally.
Earlier this year, Mustafa organized two Artists For Aid concerts supporting the people of Palestine and Sudan, the first in New Jersey and the second in London. The New Jersey edition featured performances from Clairo, Stormzy, Omar Apollo, 6lack, 070 Shake, Charlotte Day Wilson, Mohammed El-Kurd, Nick Hakim, and more, while the London concert included Clairo, Blood Orange, King Krule, Bint Mbareh, Daniel Caesar, Earl Sweatshirt, Nicolás Jaar, Ramy Youssef, and Yasiin Bey.
According to the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza, at least 69,733 people have been killed in the genocide, and a recent U.N. report stated that more than a million civilians there are now at risk of starvation. In Sudan, tens of thousands have die,d and many more have been displaced due to the ongoing conflict. While countless musicians have publicly called for a ceasefire in Gaza and several artists have canceled scheduled performances out of respect for the humanitarian crisis, Artists For Aid marks one of the first major benefit concerts in the U.S. since the war in Gaza erupted following Hamas’ attack on southern Israel on October 7.
Pre-sale tickets and further information will be available soon at ArtistsForAid.org.
