$1 Billion Temptation: Will Vinicius Jr. Leave Real Madrid for Saudi Pro League?
Imagine being offered a whopping $1 billion to join the Saudi Pro League. That is what happened with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr., a Brazilian football player who’s been playing forward for the club since 2018.
For some time now, the offer has been all the rage across news and media platforms like Reuters and ESPN, going viral and making everyone question if he will actually take the offer.
Will He Take It?
So far, there hasn’t been a conclusive answer regarding the offer. Only two sources did give an answer. The Business Standard said that Vinicius wouldn’t take the offer. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti kept it simple: “I can guarantee that there’s NOTHING into it. It’s pure speculation.”
Madrid Universal also said he won’t take the offer because Real Madrid’s release clause is a staggering 1 billion euros. This means that the club has no intention of letting go of Vincius without a fight.
Other sources, like Si, opened up about other aspects of the situation, including Ancelotti’s bold reaction and his adamant desire not to lose Vinicius.
More On The Offer
The billion-dollar offer is a five-year contract that will see Vinicius become an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup. Given that it is a big offer and that, so far, there is no conclusive answer on whether Vinicius will accept it or not; we will just have to wait and see what will happen to the Brazilian football star.
