Will the UAE be the World’s Fastest Country to Recover From the Pandemic?
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has stated that the UAE will be the fastest country in the world to actually recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
His H.H encouraging comments proceeded throughout the opening of the 40th edition of technology event Gitex that took place yesterday at the Dubai World Trade Centre which is going to continue till the 10th of this month. Gitex is going to be the world’s only major live, in-person technology event of 2020.
Sheikh Mohammed tweeted “Gitex will be the most important and realistic global technological event in 2020 and the UAE will be the fastest country to recover in the world,” he also added, “We will conclude 2020 with a global event and we will start 2021 with a series of projects and major initiatives – 2021 our fiftieth year and our golden jubilee, and it will be different from all years.”
The UAE remains focused on boosting its economy and developing its science and technology sectors, especially since the country is already set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee in 2021 as well as multiple projects and initiatives.
