Watch iT Acquires Exclusive Digital Broadcast Rights to Egypt’s Domestic Football

Egypt’s newest streaming platform announced this Monday their newest four-year deal. The deal means that Watch iT now has exclusive digital broadcasting rights for the country’s premier football league.

The platform will allow users to watch live games in addition to exclusive summaries and analyses. Watch iT will also produce football-related shows for fans. The new deal signifies the first time ever for Egyptian football to be broadcast on a digital platform and was pursued in hopes of securing Egyptian sports’ legacy online and to preserve copyrights.
