Viral Visual: Deen Squad’s ‘Muslim Queen’ Rap Video

We’ve heard people rapping about guns, death, love, loss, struggle and pretty much everything. But it was our first time to hear Muslims rapping about finding a “halal diva” to marry!

Although the Deen Squad portray the challenges of being lonely Muslim men in a relatable way, there is still something about the video that makes us tick.

I mean, he sees a “righteous” woman coming out of a mosque and it’s love at first sight because she’s covered and doing it for the sake of the lord? So appearances are everything now? And when you make someone your wife, it better not be just for her “cooking in the kitchen”.

They do hit a few things right on the head, though – Arabs are finding it harder and harder to get married nowadays because of the ridiculous wedding costs being asked of them at such a young age.

At least he’s making dua for his lady…
