Video: Karim Abdel Aziz Shouts at Fan Wanting Selfie with Yousra During Funeral

Imagine if you were a celebrity, would you agree to taking a picture with one of your fans during your hardest times? This happened with a prominent actress in Egypt, Yousra, during her mother’s funeral last Wednesday.
Yousra’s mother passed away after a long fight with illness and many celebrities went to the funeral to support her such as Nadia Al-Gendy, Ahmed Al-Saqqa, and Karim Abdel Aziz. And for sure, there were some unknown guests and fans. Among those, someone wanted to rudely take a selfie with Yousra, literally not caring about her situation having just lost her mother. Then, Karim Abdel Aziz stepped in and started shouting at him, as shown in the video, saying “we are at a funeral!”.
We are all humans. Celebrities are also humans. And we should respect this and practice some empathy with each other. You cannot ask for a photo with someone while they are crying and mourning the loss of a close relative..
