Thanks to Local Artists, Ramadan Sharing Fridges Get An Amazing Makeover!
This year’s Ramadan fridges around Dubai are now a serious piece of art thanks to local artists. Every year in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan people start placing sharing fridges around the city of Dubai, as an initiative to give back to their community by providing free food and drinks to families and whoever is need.
Last year, we also witnessed a number of local artists spruce up the fridges using paints and brushes creating a series of astonishing artwork. This year they’re back! and more innovative than ever. With a number of talented artists, up to 40 putting their talents to the fridges.
More than 46 fridges have been painted already, the artists are defiantly showing no sings of slowing down. This initiative’s goal is to basically bring joy to workers or the people who are visiting these fridges, and to brighten their moods and give them the chance to witness art that possibly won’t be seen or encountered on a daily basis.
