Italian Soccer Legend Totti Opens First Academy in Egypt: Everything You Need To Know
Transforming the world of soccer in Egypt, the former Roma captain and Italian soccer player Francesco Totti is opening the doors to the first sports academy for talented soccer players in Egypt and the Middle East, known as the “Totti Soccer School.”
A Collab With Modon Developments
The new soccer academy is a special collaboration between Totti and Modon Developments, an Egyptian real estate company with projects all over the country, including the New Administrative Capital. They bring to life luxurious hotels, schools, business villages, and much more. Now, their focus is on the new football school.
Expansion Of Totti’s Soccer School Empire
The popular Italian soccer player already has a soccer school open in Italy called Totti Soccer School. Initially, this school was owned and founded by the Axa Calcio Sports Association in 1976, but in 2003, the baton was passed to the Totti family. Then, by 2010, the school became known as “Totti Soccer School.”
Totti’s Egypt Visit To Launch School
On September 23rd, Totti jet set from Italy all the way to Egypt to mark the launch and opening of his highly anticipated school. Having him be the one behind the school is quite special as he himself was a prominent soccer player, known as the top goalscorer and the most capped player in Roma’s history.
Having his family name emblazoned on the new school will set it out among the rest of Egypt’s football academies.
Opening such a school in Egypt will propel it forward in the realm of soccer and bring to life a skilled powerhouse of soccer players ready to slay the pitch.
