Is Generation Z the Unluckiest Generation Yet?
Every generation thinks they had it worse. Let’s be honest, generational whining has almost become a national anthem. Between our grandparents and our parents, they all think they lived through the worst era, telling us all of their victorious stories and how they overcame the social, economical and many other struggles and came out of it as if they were the Marvels.
But, when you think about it, no generation really has it easy, this is life, there must be hardships from time to time, or in our case in the Middle East, it’s always a struggle, literally since the beginning of time.
Let’s get this straight, I was born in the 90s and I thought our generation was seriously the unluckiest, but a couple of days ago I came across a video on social media of an adorable teenage twin from Egypt born in 2007, hilariously explaining how life has been treating them since the day they were born, literally not catching a break; from going through recessions, revolutions, to the present-day living under the coronavirus chaos.
After watching this it’s hard to deny that this generation really does have it bad!
