George Clooney Gets Engaged to British Lebanese Lawyer

Heads up ladies – George Clooney is officially off the market. The Oscar-winning heartthrob is said to have proposed to Amal Alamuddin, a British Lebanese lawyer.

Clooney, 52, and Alamuddin, 36, have been dating since October of last year. Alamuddin specializes in humanitarian law with a focus on international issues – a great match for Clooney, who is known for his human rights advocacy.

Now people, don’t despair. It’s great news. If someone can change George Clooney’s mind, a man who previously swore off marriage, then ladies, there’s still hope.

Besides, this woman is stunningly beautiful, super smart and speaks three languages. She’s on the legal team defending Julian Assange.

And George Clooney is lucky to have her, really.
