Food Review: Here’s Our Take on Maadi’s New Eatery and Juice Bar, Lyfe!
In the never-ending quest of hunting down new food gems to order from while at the office; my colleagues and I try all sorts of restaurants. We get fascinated at times and super disappointed at other times, but we’re all sure that the exploration adventure is definitely worth it. It’s relatively very easy to try out some new junk food; whether it’s a new pizza, burger, or shawarma place, however, it’s certainly a hard task to find a new restaurant that serves delicious healthy food. However, we stumbled upon a new healthy eats heaven, Lyfe, and here’s what we think of it.
Lyfe Eatery and Juice Bar is a new restaurant that opened this year in Maadi in a very beautiful spot in Degla, right in front of one of Maadi’s most popular cafes, Dunes. Lyfe’s menu is very diverse, unique, and very colorful, and you’d easily get lost between the number of options you’ll find interesting. From oats & Greek yogurt, toasts, wraps, poke bowls, to cold-pressed juices and smoothies that taste heavenly.
The first time we ordered I tried the “Eggs Royale” and I instantly fell in love. A thin layer of fresh smoked salmon, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, parsley all placed perfectly on a toast. Since then, I’ve ordered food from Lyfe numerous other times and went to dine in several times as well. I tried several other plates and smoothies, and I can tell you their “Berry Madness” is a must try.
The interior of the place is perfect for a breakfast date; very sunny, green, and cozy! Moreover, the food served in the restaurant is way fresher and tasty than when ordered by delivery. Lyfe is definitely a bit pricey, but I can guess that the high quality of the ingredients influenced the pricing.
