El Ekhteyar Season 2 Casting is in Progress and Injy El Mokkaddem is Joining the Crew!
One of the most beloved actresses in Egypt, Injy El Mokaddem, made huge headlines and will be making more in the upcoming days. But unlike most celebrities, it’s not because of her dresses or statements during El Gouna Film Festival, but because she nailed a role in arguably the most anticipated series in next year’s Ramadan race. Yes, you read that right, Egyptian superstar Injy El Mokaddem just joined the cast of the second season of “El Ekhteyar”!
The first season of “El Ekhteyar” that featured Amir Karara was hands down the most successful series in this year’s Ramadan season. The second season is looking very promising already as it’ll feature Karim Abdelaziz as the protagonist and Ahmed Mekky as the antagonist and now the talented actress Injy El Mokaddem just joined the cast as well.
Synergy announced that the series is written by Hany Sarhan and directed by Peter Mimi. The second season will also follow the story of one of the Egyptian heroes who gave his life protecting his country. According to sources, the series started shooting on Saturday in El Tagamou’ El Khames, and Injy is expected to begin shooting in the upcoming days.
