This Dubai Cafe Takes Coffee Art to the Next Level

Tub of Butter, a fine foods concept, has opened its doors in Dubai, offering an all-day casual dining space as well as a retail space. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the venues counters stock fresh pastries, desserts, Italian cold cuts, olives, jams, and a selection of Mediterranean cheeses from the deli. The rotisserie serves roast chicken daily, and pizzas are baked in the Mediterranean style oven on-site. But that’s not what makes this place special.

The Sheikh Zayed road (next to the Metropolitan Hotel) eatery is garnering attention because of its coffee.

Al Pacino, Barack Obama, Justin Bieber, Nancy Ajram, Marilyn Monroe and Sha Rukh Khan are some of the faces currently seen topping off cappuccinos at Tub of Butter — with the cost of the coffee and art together coming in at just over AED20. Guests can also submit their own photos for a personalized stencil to be made for AED30 for their next trip to the place.
