Deana Shaaban and Tara Emad’s Fashion-Infused Love Affair Should be Your Friendship Goals for 2020

Whether it’s a birthday, a casual event, a festival, or even a dress fitting, you’ll always see these two together. And if you’re following the fashion scene, it’s easy to guess who we’re referring to; the Egyptian Actress Tara Emad and Egyptian Fashion Designer and Fitness Director, Deana Shaaban.

Deana and Tara support each other all the way. “My best friend has also, unintentionally, become my muse,” says Shaaban.

The bond between these two beautiful souls is our favorite kind of friendship!

There were a great deal of sleepless nights in the past 20 days, a lot of things I had never done before that kinda had to get done somehow. But in the end, it all works out. You can panic or not, allow stress to take you over, or not. Worry over sleepless nights, or not. Or, you can find a way to love the process, find the gifts in every moment and every circumstance and roll with the punches. But it will all, inevitably work out. It’s always extraordinary when I get to design for friends, even more so when they are family. Tara, is one of the dearest people to my heart, she has transformed so immensely over the years. Her honesty with herself and the world is admirable in ways that are inspiring. In designing alongside her over the years, I have also watched her grow, and transform into an incredibly profound human being. Tara is an embodiment of what is essentially means to be inherently good. #love

It’s a very rare thing to meet a person a little later in life and connect with them on levels that are profound and very real. To find friendship and family and wholistic and unconditional love. We are blessed to have met over 8 years ago and to have a friendship that continues to grow. Endless love.

Happy birthday to this fluttering bumble bee! She is an absolute radiant source of wonderful energy, spreading goodness to the whole world! She’s probably gonna kill me for doing this publicly, she likes to do this quietly, but whatevs. Very rarely does one find a comfortable and safe space in the world, where one can become unapologetically themselves, and feel totally and completely free. In each other’s company, we have found that space.
