Crown Jewel: Saudi Arabia to Host a Huge WWE Pay Per View This Thursday
It’s likely that if you’re reading this article that you’re a fan of WWE or at least have an idea what it is. If not, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is one of the biggest entertainment organizations in the world, and its wrestling events are viewed by millions of people.
WWE began a 10-year strategic partnership with the General Sports Authority in support of Saudi-Vision 2030; Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program. Next Thursday, the 31st of October, Saudi will host its fourth WWE Mega Event, and the second under the name Crown Jewel at the King Fahad International Stadium.
This edition of Crown Jewel is special because it doesn’t only have the biggest names in the wrestling entertainment industry, but also two legends in the making in boxing and MMA. As WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is scheduled to face MMA Icon Cain Velasquez, while Braun Strauman will face Boxing Champion Tyson Fury.
There are other anticipated matches in this Pay Per View Event as the two legends and Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are each leading a team of five to face one another, including big names such as, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Another anticipated match is the rematch between Seth Rollings and the Fiend for the Universal Championship.
