Check out Sharjah’s Dh25 Billion Waterfront City!

The UAE-based Sharjah Oasis Real Estate said it has completed Dh3 billion worth of infrastructure development works at Sharjah Waterfront City, the largest mixed-use waterfront city in the Northern Emirates. The project will include eight natural islands connected to each other consisting of villas, commercial units, shopping malls, a water park, and a marina. Phase 1 of the project is set for completion by the end of 2019.

‘Sun Island’ consists of 231 villas ranging from three to six bedrooms. The project has already seen the sale of 30% of the residential villas, said officials. An agreement has also been signed for The Dusit – Sharjah Waterfront City to be part of the ambitious waterfront development. It will feature 200 hotel rooms and 200 serviced residences.

It will be completed as a whole over 8-10 years and built upon natural land in the Hamriyah zone and is expected to help Sharjah in reaching its tourism figures for 2021.

Entertainment and leisure offerings are also expected to bring in visitors from the neighboring emirates such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Developers are already in talks with the Dubai RTA to provide water taxis that will ferry visitors between the two emirates.

WE SAID THIS: We believe Sharjah’s future plans should inspire all countries!
