A car that turns into a robot? You might think that’s impossible, but not in the UAE. Your Transformers dream can now come true! Earlier this year Turkish engineers were successful at turning the big-budget film into reality, by building a car that transforms into a giant robot, and Abu Dhabi will be the first to witness it.

A BMW that transforms into Antimon, a gigantic robot will be the star attraction at the Big Boys Toys 2016 exhibition that’ll be taking place at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi tomorrow. The car, designed and developed by a team of 12 engineers and four technicians over eight months, will be up for auction.

“Bids will start at $600,000, which is the original cost of the car,” Turgut Alpagot, Sales and Marketing Director of Letrons, have told the media. This all might sound too good to be true, but there’s a catch. When the car is in robot mode, don’t expect to fight Decepticons on top of Etihad Towers because Antimon is remote-controlled with no seats inside.

WE SAID THIS: We don’t care if we can’t get inside an Optimus Prime, we still want to remote control it.
