Beyoncé Turns Heads With Her Arab-Inspired Looks at the Global Citizen Fest in South Africa

Via Balmain

Queen Bey never fails to impress; the woman is a true role model when it comes to almost everything. I’m a hardcore fan of the woman’s Sasha Fierce-attitude, even before falling in love with her art. One of the hundred other things that are so special about Beyoncé is her statement style. It’s not just that she turns heads every single time, but she also seems to be a fan of Egyptian roots and Arab inspired designs, not just her African background.

Jay-Z’s better half was previously spotted rocking Arab inspired outfits and even garments by Arab designers several times; including Egyptian fashion label, Okhtein. This time, Beyoncé struck again during her recent performances at Global Citizen Festival, celebrating 100 years of Mandela, that took place in South Africa.

Balmain

We’ve always sensed Beyoncé’s strong admiration for Ancient Egyptian queens. I mean, remember her Queen Nefertiti-inspired outfit in Coachella and her sexy pregnancy shoot? Well, it was no surprise to see her once again in this ultra-chic Balmain top all covered in hieroglyphics.

Ashi Studio

Because queens slay in class; Beirut-based Ashi Studio’s very own Mohammed Ashi was one of the lucky Arab designers to dress Queen Bey. She looked stunning as she set the stage on fire singing in this fuschia custom-made gown.

Sarah’s Bag

Last but not least, Beyoncé was spotted posing with another Lebanese designer garment. The Chili Marquetry pouch by Sarah’s Bag was definitely a smart addition to her outfit!

WE SAID THIS: It’s always a pleasure dressing such an idol!
