The Attraction
The longest toboggan ride in the region at the highest peak in UAE. going over 1,885 meters with a speed of 40 km/h. All that means that it is a must for all: families, friends, and all the adrenaline junkies out there. This new attraction comes as a part of a half a million Dirhams investment in the RAK area as the Emirate is developing itself as the “Adventure capital of the Middle East,” said Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority to the Khaleej Times.
The Location
The new attraction is located in Jebal Jais in Ras Al-Khaimah Emirate, known as the highest peak in the country. It has been a tourist attraction for the longest time, and quite honestly, the new Jais Sledder couldn’t come in a better time since the place garners a lot of visitors yearly. This new adventure provided by UAE authorities will guarantee a fresh start for the location both nationally and internationally.

Jais Sledder is open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday to Sunday. With ticket pricing starting at 40 AED. As mentioned before, the ride speed will be 40 km/h covering 1,885 meters around Jebal Jais, overlooking panoramic, breathtaking views of the rocky mountain and wildlife of the area.
