On one hand, the Ministry of Antiquities proudly introduced the new logo of the Grand Egyptian Museum; an orange quad with the name of the museum calligraphed in white.
The General Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum stated that the design was inspired by the horizontal designs of the building’s architecture and that the pyramids were integrated into the design on the right side. He added that the orange color was to embody the pyramids color during sunset, He added that the design was generally created by Atelier Brücknerand that it took them several months to design.
While on the other hand, the social media population had another say in the matter, they thought the logo was a hideous representation of what the Museum had to offer and there were some hilarious reactions.
