Temraza to Showcase its Latest Collection for the First Time in Beirut
As usual, Farida Temraz never fails to make us proud. The young Egyptian fashion designer, who made it to the international fashion scene, will be taking over Beirut with her latest collection tonight, 20th of March. In light of the Arab world collaboration and in support of the Arab fashion industry, the fashion show will be taking place tonight at the Four Seasons, Beirut. It’s going to be the first time in Lebanese history to witness the showcasing of an Egyptian brand on the catwalk.
If there would be a signature sign for Temraza, we’d say it’s leaving a modern touch of Egyptian imprint on her designs. This time, her new collection is all about that. “The Legacy Returns” collection is inspired from the strong women of ancient Egypt that once ruled our land. The voguish designs perfectly reflect the Egyptian heritage and lifestyle in all the design elements, from the cuts to the choice of fabric. The color palette is dominated by three main colors; black, white and gold. In addition to those, some designs have hints of dark red and blue. “Owing it all back to Egypt, this collection reflects the Ancient Egyptian legacy and supremacy in a modern way,” Temraz said.
It’s not the first time for Farida Temraz to represent her homeland and make her people proud. She has participated in several fashion weeks across the globe including those in Paris, London and Los Angeles. Her most recent achievement was being the official representative of Egypt in the last New York Fashion Week. She has also dressed many international celebrities including Carrie Underwood, Andrea Brooks, Mary J. Blige and many more. Not just that, but a lot of other celebrities were spotted wearing Temraza on red carpets at the Oscars, Grammy’s, Emmy’s and SAG awards.
