Picture of the Day: A School Director and His Students Throw Snowballs in the Mountains of St. Catherine

While it does snow in South Sinai’s St. Catherine almost every year, we can’t help but dreamily browse through all the amazing pictures of snow-covered mountains and a desert dressed in white, all the while wishing we were there.

This year the magical mountains really outdid themselves though, and the pictures are truly out-of-this-world. It even snowed in Saudi Arabia and Jordan this year, with a whole bunch of stunning photos being shared on social media just after the start of the new year.

Another picture was shared more recently showing a heartwarming scene in the mountains of St. Catherine, with a school director and his students throwing snowballs at each other playfully. The sheer amount of carefree joy and laughter that is expressed in this one photo is enough to make you feel like all is well in the world; so naturally, we decided to share the love!
