Pharaohs To Play Against World Class Footballers In A Legendary Match In October

With the crowd of 70.000 fans, Egypt is set to host a “match of the legends” in the participation of Egyptian and World-class football stars. On Monday, Ahmed Hossam Mido, Zamalek’s Former Star, tweeted that the match, which is finally approved by Egyptian authorities, is scheduled to be held on the 28th of October.

The international team will include Luis Figo, Francesco Totti, Didier Drogba, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, and Michael Ballack, alongside other icons of world football. Moreover, some of Egypt’s greatest will play in the match including Hazem Imam, Hussam Hassan, Ibrahim Hassan, Essam El Hadary, Hani Ramzi, Mohammed Barakat, Wael Gomaa, Ahmed Hassan, and others.
Last Week, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that Egyptian fans would start gradually return to local matches starting from the 1st of September with a maximum of 5000 fans per match. Therefore, this match will be an important step on the way of returning the spectators back to the stadiums.
