Oman Announces 14-Day Free Visa Entry Program for Tourists
Aiming to attract tourists Oman has announced visa-free entrance for up to 14 days as reported by The Siasat Daily. Unfortunately, the program is not offered to everyone but for the citizens of 103 countries including; Portugal, Sweden, Russia, China, the United States, Turkey, and many more.
Visitors from these nations can now choose to extend their visa-free stay in Oman for more than 14 days, with an additional cost of 20 Omani Riyals for a month. Afterwards, visitors have to submit an online application for an e-Visa to gain entrance and extend their stay.
As for Indian tourists, they can acquire a visa upon arrival if they possess an entry visa from the US, Canada, the UK, one of the Schengen nations, Japan or a residency permit from one of the GCC nations.
