Misr El Kheir Just Celebrated Their Development Partners for the Second Year
Misr El Kheir (MEK), one of the leading Charity and Development Organizations in Egypt, just organized a huge celebration in Nile Ritz Carlton to honor their development partners, for the second year. To begin with, MEK is a non-profit development institution, established in 2007, with the objective of developing Egyptian individuals in a comprehensive manner. The organization focuses on five areas of development Health, Education, Scientific Research, Social Solidarity, and Aspects of Life.
The celebration was attended by some of the most influential figures in Egypt, and representatives from MEK partners in the government, civil society, private sector, and media. MEK has strong partnerships with organizations on local, regional, and international levels. The attendees include the Head of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Ali Gomaa, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Local Development, Major General Abo Bakr El Gendy, and Minister of Planning, Dr. Hala Saeed.
In addition to honoring the dedicated development partners of MEK, the celebration focused on showcasing the successes of 2017 and presented and discussed the ambitious plan of 2018. The celebration started with a short documentary taking the angle of presenting MEK from the eyes of their partners; describing their experience with the developmental powerhouse. The documentary was followed by five presentations from the heads of the five key areas of development; presenting their short-term plans, and they were all very promising. Then it was concluded by a musical show, “A Message of Peace”, for Dr. Intisar Abd El Fattah.
