Kayali Fans on Alert: Huda Beauty May Sell Beloved Perfume Brand
One of the coolest and most popular Arab perfume brands out there, Kayali, the one whose unique scents have generated a major fandom—like Yum Pistachio Gelato and Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar—is probably making a major business decision.
There are talks that the Dubai-based cosmetics firm Huda Beauty is considering selling all or part of its perfume division, including its Kayali line.
According to sources who spoke to Bloomberg, Huda Beauty is planning on hiring an advisor, the Goldman Sachs Group Inc., to advise them on the potential sale of the fragrance division.
The process is still in its early stages, meaning the sale isn’t set in stone, and future plans for Kayali could still change.
If the sale does take place, it will be quite lucrative, seeing as how the brand has been valued at more than $1 billion in the past. We’ll just have to wait and see the future of Kayali and Huda Beauty’s fragrance division at large.
