Heartwarming Accounts and Videos of COVID-19 Patients in Egypt Show Us There is Hope

At times like these, the slightest act of positivity can be of great importance to the entire community. We tend to keep track of the daily updates on the number of new cases affected by coronavirus, instead, if we focus our sight on the number of patients recovering, it might be a source of hope, and ease the effect of this dull situation on us.

Swedish Merit Gabriel and American Jeff Yee, were both diagnosed with COVID-19 in Egypt. But recently, they both posted pictures and videos announcing their recovery. Although they were diagnosed at different hospitals, both of them agreed that the doctors, nurses, and everyone in the hospitals was working around the clock to take good care of them.

“Lovely people with big hearts who took such good care of me,” said Merit in a post on Facebook.

“To Dr. Allam and team, as a token of my appreciation, when 5G wireless is available in your town, I’d like to send equipment to help upgrade the hospital’s Internet for its staff and patients,” was part of how Jeff decided to thank the medical staff at the hospital that took care of him while he was sick. Jeff is the Vice President of ZTE Corporation in the USA.
