Get Ready To Rock: Green Day is Hitting Up Dubai For The First Time
Known as the American rock band who were capable of intertwining the raw power of punk with pop is Green Day. They’re the band that emulated with the angst-ridden restlessness of American teenagers during the end of the 20th century. Fast forwarding to today, for the first time ever, they are performing in Dubai.
They will be taking the stage at Dubai’s Expo City within an open air concert venue that can take up to 30,000 people. Bringing their punk rock excellence to the stage on January 27, 2025, the band is expected to perform their biggest hits, including American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Wake Me Up When September Ends.
Along with Green Day, another US rock band will be gracing the stage on the same night. The Offspring, a band that has experienced major success since its inception in 1984, is expected to perform its biggest hits, including Pretty Fly (For a White Guy), Why Don’t You Get a Job?, and Original Prankster.
Pre-sale tickets for the special event will be out soon. Rear standing tickets will start from Dhs445, golden circle seats will be available for Dh595, Fan Pit tickets will be sold for Dhs1,195, and VIP hospitality lounge tickets will cost Dhs3,000.
To get your hands on pre-sale tickets, register for the pre-sale through the Green Day DXB website. The tickets will be available on May 9 for 24 hours, so get them and get them fast as they will get sold out quickly.
