Everyone Wants Abu and Yousra’s ‘Talat Da’at’ from GFF to Be Their Wedding Song, and Honestly We Can’t Blame Them

Social media is going wild over a video of a particular song that was performed at El Gouna Film Festival. The song features the jolly singer/songwriter Abu, and the ever so glamorous actress Yousra — that is returning to the world of singing for the first time in 10 years.

The song, titled “Talat Da’at” (meaning Three Beats), is the brainchild of Abu and renowned author Tamer Habib in his debut as a lyricist. A video of the song, being performed by Abu and Yousra at GFF, took over social media and it instantly became a hit among Egyptians, and the rest of the Arab world. Most social media users have vowed to have this song played on their wedding day (understandably so), and others just love the way the song makes them feel.

We’ve contacted Abu’s management team about “Talat Da’at,” and they told us: “The song is meant to capture summer vibes perfectly, giving 2017’s summer one last hurrah right from the heart of Gouna during its most iconic event.”

WE SAID THIS:We are loving how this song basically become GFF’s anthem.
