Departure flights were postponed until further notice in Dubai International Airport  after Emirates Boeing 777, an aircraft from Emirates Airlines, arriving from Thiruvananthapuram in India faced some trouble during its landing process earlier this afternoon, at 12.45pm local time according to Dubai’s official Media Office.

The Guardian reports that the airport was closed to all landings and take-offs after the incident, with a number of incoming flights diverted to Dubai world central. Authorities still have not announced why this incident has occurred. There were 282 passengers and 18 crew on board. So far, there are no casualties and no one was reported injured.
