By The End Of 2024: Saudi Arabia Will Open Its Dream Of The Desert — A $53 M Train
Saudi Arabia made a $53 million deal with an Italian company to build a dream in the desert, a train that shall be the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The Italian Company ‘Arsenale Group,’ who built Orient Express La Dolce Vita, is partnering with Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) to build a luxury, 40-cabinet train that shall pass from the North Train Station in Riyadh and end at Al-Qurayyat Train Station.
When finished, the train will be the first of its kind in the region, offering a second-to-none Arabian experience.
Today, January 27, the CEO of SAR and Chairman of the Arsenale Group signed an agreement to build the “Dream of the Desert Train.” This project, which is going to cost the Kingdom plenty of millions, is part of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics initiatives.
According to the SAR press release, the train will be available for reservations by the end of 2024.
