5 ‘Borrowed’ Brand Logos Found in the Middle East

To be fair, ‘borrowed’ brand logos are not by any means exclusive to the Middle East. Whether its done in the spirit of comedy, as a political statement or sheerly to reap the benefits of the brand, the Mid East is one of the few places in the world where companies can actually get away with blatant copyright infringement (at least for a while) without being shut down immediately. Then again, foreign companies have been known to lend their logos to aspiring start ups in new markets as a way to test the demand before expanding. Some of our favorites:
