Searching for a relaxed spot with live music and sports? Dubai has plenty of places that have everything you need, from giant screens and good drinks, to cracking vibes, pool tables, and of course, great service. But for the best of the best, look no further than these awesome sports bars.
The Underground Pub
Located at Jumeirah Beach Residence, the British sports pub is your go-to if you’re looking for a decent place to catch a match of whatever sport you happen to be following and enjoy generous servings since the place offers all of your favorite British classics. We’re talking steak pies and full English brekkie. The place is a real comfy treat.
Barasti Beach Bar
While it might be one of the older bars around, this 20-year-old beach bar is just as popular as ever, since many Dubai residents still head to Barasti to enjoy the sun, watch the game and tuck into some decent bar food. It’s famous for a reason.
Lock, Stock & Barrel
We can’t think of a better venue in Dubai than Lock, Stock & Barrel. Many people are massive fans of this place due to its many telly screens, amazing drinks deals, two-for-one happy hour, as well as all-night free entry to the bar. You’re guaranteed to have a good time here.
Loca
Loca is the perfect place for all football and Mexican food fans. This place is among our top picks due to its reasonable prices especially during the happy hours, its bar snacks and swift service.
D&A (formerly known as Dhow & Anchor)
Since it opened, the British-inspired sports-bar still stands as proud as it did in 1997. After its renovation in 2013, the bar is now looking more sleek and youthful. Head over and you can expect friendly service, delicious food and a whole bunch of TV screens showing the latest kick-off.
McGettigan’s DWTC
This Irish pub has the most lively crowd in Dubai. At McGettigan’s you get to enjoy great food, awesome drink deals, live music, and all the sports your little heart desires. It’s an upbeat bar that caters to everyone’s needs, keeping the spirit of a good show alive.
